Affiliated to Yachting Association of India, Sports Authority of Goa and the Goa Olympic Association, Goa Yachting Association (GYA) is one of the oldest sailing organisations in the country. Established in 1973 and officially registered in 1981, it has been developing the sport of sailing in Goa for close to 5 decades now. We are committed to creating opportunities for young and old alike to take up sailing, both on a competitive and recreational level.

Our small, but vibrant state, blessed with a stunning coastline, beautiful rivers and so much natural bounty, offers an opportunity to learn and enjoy a wide variety of activities in nature. Casual Sunday racing, day trips with family and friends or sunset sails on Bombay Harbour Seabirds allow you to get up close and personal with the blue waters. If you're lucky, dolphins might join you for the ride!
